About Us

Our Story

Founded in 1950, the Cambridge Business and Professional Club has been at the heart of the city’s business life for more than seventy years. Created by local entrepreneurs and professionals, the club was designed to encourage friendship, learning, and professional growth in a spirit of respect and goodwill.

Today, CBPC continues this proud tradition. We combine the heritage of Cambridge with the energy of modern business. Our members represent a wide range of industries including technology, finance, law, education, healthcare, and the creative sector.

What We Do

Our members come together monthly in the Old Hall of Queens’ College. These meetings include:

  • A welcoming reception with drinks
  • A three-course meal in a historic Cambridge setting
  • Inspiring talks from guest speakers such as CEOs, innovators, and thought leaders
  • Time to share ideas and build connections with other guests

Our purpose is to help Cambridge’s business community grow, connect, and make a positive difference in the local economy and beyond.

Why Joining

Becoming a member means joining a community of professionals who value connection, collaboration, and tradition.
Whether you are running a business, managing a team, or starting a new venture, CBPC gives you the opportunity to meet people who inspire and support you.
